Eric Shear
LL.B Candidate, Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa

Eric is a first-year student in the French Common Law program.  Before coming to Ottawa, Eric completed a multidisciplinary degree in Political Science as well as French and German at Université Laval in Québec.  Eric’s research is focused on the ever-evolving world of security, and counter-terrorism: he has a great interest in the field of security, both at a geo-political global level, but also in the context of new security technologies and their consequences on individual privacy.
