Leila Pourtavaf
M.A. Media Studies Candidate, Department of Communication Studies, Concordia University

Leila Pourtavaf is currently completing an MA in Media Studies at Concordia University's Department of Communication Studies. Her thesis is an investigation of new forms of urbanism and identity formation. She is also the co-founder and a Montreal coordinator of the BOOKMOBILE project, an annual traveling exhibition of artist' books, zines and independent publications. Leila is working closely with Stephanie Perrin on the Anonopedia project, a glossary of concepts and terms which are currently circulating in the language of surveillance, anonymity, identity and authentication.
