Christopher Young
MA Candidate, Department of Philosophy, University of Ottawa

e-mail: chris.young.cdn(at)gmail.com

Chris is currently completing his Master's degree in Philosophy at the University of Ottawa.  He has an honours degree in Philosophy from the University of Ottawa. Prior to studying philosophy, he had a stint in engineering, graduating with a B.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering at the end of 2000, and later working as a technical sales engineer for a semiconductor company in Ottawa’s high-technology sector. His philosophical interests, though still coalescing, center around ethics and political philosophy, particularly from the perspective of how these fields are affected by societal changes that are driven by technological development. Chris is a research assistant to Ian Kerr, helping with issues that span the boundary between technology and philosophy.
